About Michael Frickstad

“Words, words, words!” have dominated my life as writer, reader, teacher, journalist, songwriter, and speech coach. As a child of the 60s, I developed an eclectic taste that runs the gamut from history to spiritual texts, from music to photography, and from William Shakespeare to Ferdinand the Bull. My writing style, like my taste in chocolate, ranges from fluffy to dark and from traditional to quirky. Literary inspirations include Mark Twain, Daniel Quinn, Charlotte Bronte, Emily Dickinson, and Dave Barry. (Like I said, I get a little quirky at times.)
